Marybeth Snyder
Marybeth Snyder is a Senior Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of W. Scott Smith, where she specializes in misdemeanor and felony criminal defense. Marybeth is a double Eagle, earning both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Georgia Southern University. She attended law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
During law school, she interned with the Atlanta Judicial Circuit Metro Conflict Public Defender’s Office and was sworn in under the Third Year Practice Act. After graduation, she continued her commitment to criminal defense with the Metro Conflict Defender and worked in both non-complex and complex courtrooms before making the switch to private practice.
Marybeth is extremely passionate about criminal defense and firmly believes that people are more than the worst thing they have been accused of. She treats her clients with care, compassion, and zealous advocacy.
Marybeth is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Northern District of Georgia. She is an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
Marybeth grew up an Army brat living all over the world before settling in Atlanta during high school. She has called it home ever since. When Marybeth is not fighting for her clients, she enjoys hanging out with friends and is an avid Atlanta United and Liverpool FC supporter.
