Mary Agramonte
Mary Agramonte is a Senior Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of W. Scott Smith. Mary’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and another Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Valdosta State University. She received both of her Bachelor’s degrees with Highest Honors, graduating in the Top 10% of her entire undergraduate class. Mary then went on to law school where she graduated Cum Laude from the nationally ranked College of Law at Georgia State University. At Georgia State, Mary was consistently at the top of her class and became a member of the Student Trial Lawyer Association where she participated as a member of a winning team at national mock trial competition in Houston, Texas. Mary’s compassionate and kind heart was recognized at graduation when she received Highest Distinction in Pro Bono hours for the amount of time she dedicated to providing legal services for those who needed them the most.
During law school, Mary was sworn in under the Third Year Practice Act and represented indigent clients charged with felonies in court with the DeKalb County Public Defender’s Office. She also worked with a renowned criminal defense firm where she gained valuable experience working with clients and attending court hearings in the metro Atlanta area. Mary has chosen this area of law because she is passionate about being a voice to those in our criminal justice system and ensuring that their rights are protected no matter what. For Mary, defending clients is an honor and she wants to be your advocate during your utmost time of need.
Mary is a member of Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers. She has successfully completed the comprehensive course of study on DUI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety, as well as several Advanced DUI Training seminars. She is a leader in DUI and criminal defense.
Mary has called Atlanta home for 15 years, and she loves her city and its people in it. When she is not working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outside, cooking, and practicing yoga.
